Great car boot sale at Bowlee and a good place to have a clear out, as well as pick up some bargains. Open to sellers from 6am and buyers from around 6:30am onwards, each Sunday and on some Bank Holiday days too. Check the Rochdale council website for exact dates/openings. £15 for a stall as a buyer for a car on hard standing tarmac, although you may be on grass if it is busy and they’re out of room on the main part. £2.50 for parking as a buyer. Can get busy on the roads as you wait to get on but you’re soon moving and advice is to get early if you can. Entrances for buyers and sellers. Sellers enter via the first entrance on the left from the Rochdale/Heywood side with buyers queuing a bit further up towards Middleton/David Lloyd Leisure. Food & drink stalls a little on the pricey side for what you get but not much choice elsewhere. Toilets are available too.

Busy. Car park needed overflow. BIG queue to get in. £2.50 entrance fee meant just about everyone needed change. One person collecting. Needs improving.

It's so annoying when they don't update their open times on here. We drove 20miles at 7am and it was closed, when clearly said “open”. So many people like us were turbinf around disappointed! Get some responsibility and notify your customers correctly

Get here early enough and it’s great but the whole experience would be better is they had someone controlling traffic in and out of the site, if you have to filter into the car park from the opposite side of the road you’ve got no chance ! My advice would be to ensure you arrive on the correct side of the road so you can just drive in without blocking traffic. Also only a couple of toilets onsite so make sure your prepared to wait or not need one.

Great variety of vendors. Get there early so you have time to browse. Parking is very easy and well looked after by security and parking staff.

We were selling it was a productive day, I made £100 my daughter made £200. If you've got anything you need to get rid off and its good quality do it at Bowlee. Your recycling and making money.

Best to get down early!! Each week is different so some weeks are better than others, as expected. Friendly staff on hand for enquiries and there's never any trouble. Always seems to be well set out and they even have toilets! Haha as well as food/drinks stalls
